tap to view whole story During the second COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Uganda, Tooro Babies’ Home was published as one of the many Babies’ Homes in Uganda that had run of food supplies and necessities. As it was one of the babies’ homes being sponsored by The Ripples Foundation, Ripples took the initiative to run a campaign amidst the tough times to help support Tooro Babies’ Home through the lockdown. The campaign ran for 10 days and support was received from a number of well-wishers.

From the campaign, six million and five hundred thousand was collected and this was used to purchase food items and other necessities required by the Home. Special thanks go to; Skal Club of Kampala, Ms. Civi Tumusiime, Hope for Ugandan Life and Eugenie Windt for their support through these hard times.
